weird atmospheric feel....

this was a prertty different track, some unique ethnic sounds, but you need to work on gelling everything together.

the guitarish synth has an interesting melody, and the ethnic percussion is pretty sweet. keep the percussion going throughout man, perhaps add a different, slow beat to keep up with the track...the lead synth and piano are nice too, but in some sections of song the flow kinda sounds a bit jumbled....

some flaws in here that can be fixed, but a nice track man.

loogiesquared responds:

thank you...i was thinking of a remix....?

nice sound....

this is probably my favorite song in FFX2....but it sounds like you just imported the midi directly into FL studio(correct me if i'm wrong) and ran the piano parts threw the harpo sytrus preset :/

still it has really cool melodies and a beautiful sound, just work more on making your track more original, like mix the rhythms, add some percussion and add your own flavor to make it a more personal remix.

ReapersArms responds:

Nah I didnt input the midi. I actually figured it out all by ear and made the tune with the Styrus Piano

Sweetness man.

love the synths in the intro...too bad it was only 10 seconds tho, with cool sounds like that you should have made it longer :)

interesting trance groove, love the higher end percussion...around 1:00 that fast arpsynth is sweet! it really adds some originality and diversity to your piece...the ambient section around 1:30 is nice and atmospheric.

overall, slick track you got going here...some sections of the song and the nice arpsynth add some depth to your track, otherwise tho, the verse sections could use some more originality to retain some interest...still catchy riffs, but I would try to spice up the rhythms next time around....if you like :)

Arcsynth responds:

Hey, thanks! I discovered that I need to write more ambience. =P

hey thanks for the gift

this is a groovy audio clip right here. love the keys and the saws smoothing its way into the track, and how they swirl throughout my speakers...sweet phase/flange effect going here. some real nice melodies too. I love the acidy sequenced thats around 1;20...sounds real professional, and I love the reverb pads that you keep with it.

the ending to this track is perfect, some real nice drum sounds going around around 3:00, and pretty sweet gloomy piano melody.

the productionn and sound is pretty much perfect, great selection of synths, pads, and FX. i just think you could transition your melodies a bit better. the third phase around 1:15, it sounded like you were stopping the track and entering into a new song, so I guess there could be some smoother progression in here. and at 2:37, sounds like you could have used another chord before this one, or we using a key change? but it kinda sounds cool!

great dance/techno track! I like it :)

Davirus responds:

Yup!
Im planning to make the song more versatile in keys\notes meaning.

Thanks for de suport and the great commenting! xD
Really helpful!

If I do the extended version I will let you know as soon as I have it =3

Epic Win.

damn this one damn badass metal song! it sounds like some holy type of battle is going on, you've got some real killer metal riffs in here. it really has everything I like in a song. some nice lead riffs, fast heavy metal rhythms, badass drums(love the cymbal work!), which flow perfectly with the song....I also love where you include the short quiet bits in here, the first one around 2:00, and the one around 2:30 with the crying lady is a pretty sweet instrumental, love the harps and keys, some really saddening melodies. then you open it back with a lovely riff, and those organ pads are just truly amazing. great for a long battle scene....man, again love those pads, thats what makes metal tracks like this so diverse and a pleasure to listen to. i love the choirs around 6:20ish, and you go right back into metal madness. well, i dont wanna drag on repeating myself any longer, but let me just say, great ending, and i dont know if you intended to do this, but it ties along right with the intro and the lady crying right along 2:30....the beast is scaring the citizens of the town in the intro, one of the children gets killed during 2:30, and in the end the beast wins?

great quality production here. i think the harp and lead guitar could be a bit louder too. I would also love to see a guitar solo bit somewhere in here, that would have been nice.

but man once again, amazing track, you've got some great technical skill and talent composing. i will defintely favorite this because i'll listen to it again.

Lashmush responds:

You just leveled up my happiness. Thanks! ;D

Crazy bro

This sounds like a circus is getting sucked into a black hole.....lots of weird bits in here, but its a different type of nice, great levels of intensity throughout the track.

the intro didnt really draw my attention, and there was some clipping on my speakers, try putting down a light compressor of sorts, and during certain parts of the song the hi-hats got too trebly :S

but really interesting approach here, lots of randomness, but it connects well, you've got some crazy ass riffs in here. nice chromatic percussion and hyper drum beats. nice synths, the one in the middle of the song struck me by surprise and its hella stick, its intensifying. near the end there is so more clipping too.

but more sick licks in here, just optimize some volume levels and you'll have a perfect track! stick to making DnB too :D

Greeksta-69 responds:

thanks for the review man ill take it all into consideration thanks.

Greeksta

i knew i reviewed you before...

let me just say to everyone...THIS SHIT IS FYRE!!!

ethnic style, love the indian instruments you got in here, its hella sick. Love the badass flute intro, and the pizzicato strings. the sitar lays over the track nicely, it might be able to use some reverb tho....Love the hip hop synths, and tight beat. nice job EQing everything in here, it all flows really well, great production. the harmonized flutes in the end is great wrap up for the song! keep making ethnic based hip hop beats, this style is tight man! play this on the streets of india, and watch the long bearded men in turbans ROCK DA HOUSE!

Greeksta-69 responds:

ahahahahahahhaa long bearded turbans ahahhaha thanks alot man i like how you commented on everything. Its quite simple if you think about but you gotta how to make it work togethere, this is my old style of making beats i was just experimenting now im back. Thanks alot man i appreciate the review buddy.

Greeksta

Woah

this is some interesting stuff, real original, dont think ive heard anything like it before.

the intro was pretty cool, Love the clanging notes and nice string noises. nice blend of creepy child clips. the pentatonic asian riffs sound nice over the track, and everything flows pretty swell. I love the bassline, and nice glitchy sounding drums...also love the ethnic percussion. you got going on in this track, again, this is pretty unique cool sound. I love the tinkle/tinker/baby bell riffs that ends the track, and it loops very well back into self. lots of ddiferent bits in here, all sounds very cool.

this was a combination of creepiness, groovyness, ethnicallity schism, all very pleasing sounding. wish it could be longer tho.

more please!

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

glad u enjoyed it squier, i'll keep you posted of a full version
;ped

another nice track...

I actually prefered the dancing mad one, but this one is pretty cool as well. this would work well in military type of setting, or maybe a lighthearted castle battle as well.

Love the snare and timpani bits, but you could tilt the panning a little more to the center, they sound to hard panned as it is. once again great choice of synths and instruments to create a nice, battle style type of feel. the only minor problem is the guitars volume levels are a bit too low compared to the rest of the track.

again, I cant fully review this because I havent heard the original piece. otherwise, very cool track once again, and clear clarity, nothing amazing, but its still rather nice. I've seen most of your stuff is remixes, now how about an original track by you :D

whether you do or not, keep up the good work man.

Cosmos8942 responds:

Original...yeah...been thinking on that for a looooong time now. Hmm...I could make something that is my own...but I can't promise this hair raising piece that is awe-inspiring in any way. Though I will try ^^

well its hard to fairly grade remixes...

when you havent heard the original piece.

the track though is nice, some great suspenful melodies and an interesting transition throughout the track. love the drums, sounds like someone is getting chased down the hall...lots of clangers in here, but it sounds pretty good for a piece like this. pretty crazy stuff here dude. love the fast riffs near the end of the track!

love the choice of synths used in here, very nice pipe organ that adds some interestings creepiness. interesting brass and nice use of the choir sounding organ, too.

so, it was a pretty sick track, I would 10 if it was your work...by that I mean original composition that is. in remixes, hopefully you change up some of the melodies and/or rhythms and add your own stuff into it..just switching the instruments around doesnt qualify as an entire remix IMO.

Cosmos8942 responds:

I get you...and yes I do not always do full remixes. Some of the time when I am at a loss I will simply throw in one or two additional tracks in the audio, switch up some instruments and all in all play around till I get something that sounds good. Hmm...original is something that I have a very very hard time with...but with practice do things come easier in time...we will see...*wander's off thinking*
