wow, random objects everywhere

this was really unique sounding experimental track. love the samples you use in here. the rhythms were complex yet flowed and added a nice spice to the track. it was really awesome all the way through. this sounds sweet! I can only imagine how much time you put into this track-my brain would explode if I would try to compose a piece like this. amazing man!

LJCoffee responds:

Nah - no exploding brains - basically you just bash on a keyboard and run that through any old synth that was wired together by a drunken autistic monkey.

Quantize it a little and compress it and this is the result ;)

Thanks for taking the time to review it!

can't say I'm a fan of the arpchip..

this track overall was pretty nice sounding. I don't know if I really like the arpchip synths, but the melodies were pretty cool sounding and spacey. the slayer guitar was kinda cheap sounding, and drowned out the synths a little bit. the drums could have been a bit louder. otherwise, nice clip here. reminds me of a sonic game.

WritersBlock responds:

Hey, thanks for the review, I'm still exploring the sounds of FL, I think each track I make provides a better blend of sound, but it's still something to work on. As with the slayer guitar, I was told that my songs were a little soft and that I should go for a more aggressive sound, it might have been ok if the drums had a bit more of a kick...

Sounds like sonic, eh? I must be doing something right then.
Cheers

not exactly my style of music..

but it sounded pretty decent. nice sounding bass, and the drums were cool. the vocals and little background noises sounded really cool with the track as well. I liked your music here, keep posting your stuff.

crud responds:

hell yeah, good to get some body gyrations going get that blood pumping...n stuff

I love your stuff man

your experimental style is real fresh man. as the song started off I was like wtf? but then it got real good..nice hip hopish drums, guitar, machine noises, and I like how it evolves into a disonant melody near the end..shame that this only has 5 downloads, you deserve to be more recognized.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

so fresh and so clean, thanks:)
yeah, i like the way everything sits in this one, it's so nice when it happens good. the vocals are pretty duff tho, will have to rework em when i finish. as for being more recognized around here, well, i'm just happy there are a handful
of people who are enjoying my stuff

this is actually very very cool

nice unique sound you got going on here, not very catchy, but very pleasing to in many ways, which is why I think it deserves a 10. so it sounds very good, and I love the diversity you got going on here. hope you finish the track soon.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

'this is actually very very cool'
just like me then...phych:/

perfect for laser tag

nice dance music man. the piano melody was very nice in the beginning, though it was distorted at times and caused clipping. maybe a bit too drawn out, perhaps you could have focused on the techno part a bit more..(maybe NGs upload size prevented you from doing so?)anyways, I love how it gets dark and then the song enters into the dance style. good job with this track man.

Nice Chill Loop

the synths were peaceful and nice sounding. I like the drums, they were pretty catchy..the song overall has a cool atmospherical feel to it, but it did get kinda repetive. you might have changed the drums up a bit, but they sounded quite similar throughout, I was kinda hoping the song would kinda break into something different. but nice work.

On-yX responds:

I don't like it anymore xD

Very uplifting theme

this all fits together very nicely. kinda reminds me of my old guitar teacher's style of music. once again good work and you are one of the best on NG IMO.

Gillenium responds:

Thanks! I think this is one of my defining tracks, like Dionysus, Drops of Life, and Nebula. Where I take stuff in a new direction and everybody seems to like it! I'm working with about 8 tracks right now, and I hope one of them will be my new defining track..

pretty sweet stuff

I could never really get an oort cloud to sound nice in my music...this definetly reminds of me of streets of rage 3 music. I definetly like it, for that game has one of the best soundtracks. thanks for the nostalgia moment.

Maahes responds:

Yeah, Oort cloud is my most overused and favorite noize :)

Cherish the moment. For in a moment, it will be gone.
