its different

and it was sad in a way. I like the distorted guitar in the intro, and then transitioning to the chords. perhaps some drums in the middle and a little bit more variety would've helped the song. but its nice, and I havent seen an approach like this in a while. good work.

RedHotPoker responds:

Ye i thought about adding drums and even placed a few in the mix but it didn't fit in. I am assuming that is just my shitness but oh well lol. Im glad you liked my approach im always trying to do new things with my songs so im glad to hear you liked it.

it is a bit creepy..

I could see this being used in a rap song..nice sounding loop, I like how the synth sounds..what is it that you are using? I like it

On-yX responds:

A sytrus arp... (FL Studio)

Not bad...

not exactly my cup of tea, but I guess this qualifies as good for a drum and bass song. you could have spiced it up a bit..but after all its a loop. its catchy and simple, but nothing to special.

nice work.

On-yX responds:

Yeah, I know, I'm thinking of some very nice pendulum drums for the full one :P

Sweet Sounding

I like the approach you took to this remix..it has a nice techno sound...the drums could have been a bit original..but otherwise it has a nice sound...good work man

Interesting...reminds me of Tool

sounds quite a bit like Tool...I like your melodies and reverse effects...stimulates a feeling of confusion.

the screaming heavier parts probably should be taking out..also your distorted guitar tone is kinda crappy..overall very nice work

Chill stuff...a bit creepy and happy

I could listen to this loop over and over again. I love the percussion in the background and the little eletronica riff. the bass was perfect.

the only part that I didn't like was the middle synths. I didn't think that part was necessarily needed, though in time might sound quite a bit better. I do think the song resolves in the end quite well.

this song would be perfect for using in an RPG video game when they're exploring and underground cavern or sewer! excellent work and I look forward to listening to the first 4 parts of this series!

Gillenium responds:

haha, you listened to the last part first?? Actually, I've found out that lots of people do that. I'm not sure why. Maybe people assume the meat of the song is in the final part, which isn't the case here at all. I believe the first and fourth parts to be the meatiest parts here, although a lot of people do not agree with me. Thanks for the review!

Brilliant Peaceful Song

nice music man, the reverb was perfect...and it gave an amazing monk sound...great melody too. cant find anything wrong with it. keep up the good work.

Great Hip Hop beat

I liked this one quite a bit...it was original sounding and a nice something to roll with. the bass is mastered perfectly.

however the song could have been changed up a bit and the snare was too loud.

Para-Noid responds:

How come on headphones the snare does not sound so loud? I hear no problem with it really. So ima take off the phones......FUCK why the fuck is it that loud?

Para-Noid

Nice sound

I loved the sound of the instruments and it had a nice beat to it, but it did sound a little clutered and random at times. good work man.

preffertobedead responds:

Thanks..

great stuff man.

hilarious, very nice lmao

Cherish the moment. For in a moment, it will be gone.
